Undercover, oil 3.5x2.5"

I thought I would try my hand at a miniature painting today. I plan on painting this larger, down the road, so that I can get all the detail in that I love. This was done on an artist trading card. I'm planning on attending the Mississippi Art Colony in April, and figured that it was time to start a few ATC to take with me.
When you look at the title and see "Undercover", it's not because of the balcony above it. It was so cold, and there was a short break in the drizzle that night to go out and get some night photos. I didn't have my hat so I was using my scarf to keep my head, and neck, warm from the cold winds.  We stood outside, freezing, waiting on the patrons to shut the door. After a few minutes, the door finally shut and my husband said "Now!" so that I could get the shot before the door opened again. There was another man standing nearby, smoking, that said "you'll get more money if you catch him with his girlfriend".  He thought we were private investigators and he's give us a tip on how to do the job. My husband explained that I'm an artist and I was trying to get reference photo's. From the look on his face, I don't think he believed us.
